Mahindra's new XUV700, which will replace the Mahindra XUV500 in India, will be based on Mahindra's global W601 platform and feature some segment-first features.


Mahindra XUV700 Features

There's a new 5-seater Mahindra XUV700 for India, and it comes with both a petrol and diesel engine. This festive season, Mahindra will launch the new Mahindra XUV700 in the country, and Mahindra has already shown off the new XUV700 to the world. With several segment-first innovations, the new Mahindra XUV700 is set to replace the existing Mahindra XUV500 in India. In addition, the new Mahindra XUV700, a three-row SUV, is the first Mahindra vehicle to have the new 'Twin Peaks' emblem, which will ultimately appear on all of Mahindra's cars.


This year's Mahindra XUV700 will be available with two different MX and AdrenoX variants. In contrast to traditional Mahindra designs, the new XUV700 has a new black grille with long vertical chrome slates and a new Mahindra emblem in the centre. To give the front a cheetah appearance, the new LED headlights have huge C-shaped LED DRLs flanking them. New flush door handles are standard on the Mahindra XUV700, a nod to luxury cars, while electronic ORVMs function as turning indicators. The Mahindra XUV700's rear has wraparound LED tail lights and a beefy bumper with fake skid plates in silver.


There's a luxury dual-tone interior in the new Mahindra XUV700, as well as upmarket upholstery inside. There is a single 10-inch display in the Mahindra XUV700's instrument panel and infotainment system. On both screens, Mahindra's new linked car function is available. It's compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Amazon Echo, and other smart assistants. Mahindra's new XUV700 also comes with wireless charging. Sony has provided the music system, which includes 15 speakers. A later date has been set for the introduction of this new technology.


There's a 4,695mm wheelbase on the Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus competitor. The Mahindra XUV700's top-of-the-line trim comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and disc brakes on all four wheels. Mahindra's new XUV700 will come with three driving modes: Zip, Zap, and Zoom, according to the company. With an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and a Level-1 autonomous system, the XUV700's top-spec model will be equipped with ADAS. To make the XUV700 more suitable for Indian conditions, Mahindra claims the radar and camera system has been adjusted to suit Indian roads.


the mHawk 2.0-litre diesel motor, which can produce up to 182bhp and 420Nm/450Nm of torque, and the 2.0-litre petrol engine. Standard transmission is a six-speed manual, with an optional six-speed automatic gearbox. As for the 2.0-litre petrol engine, it produces 197bhp and 380Nm of torque and is connected to six-speed manual or torque converter gearboxes. According to Mahindra, the XUV700's petrol engine can accelerate the vehicle from 0 to 100 kmph in 5 seconds.
